Partial Differential Equations
Numerical methods for solving
partial differential equations is a vast and complex subject area.
This section only scratches the surface.
Problems in electrostatics, fluid dynamics, traffic simulation,
and diffusion are discussed, applying a variety of methods.
Solutions to boundary value problems using Jacobi's method,
the Gauss-Seidel method, and successive overrelaxation method
are introduced.
